SAVE THE DATE!
Plans for the 2014 Sayreville Shamrock Run are underway! The run is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 16th at Kennedy Park in Sayreville, NJ.
We are still working on locking down a charitable organization, so once we have those details, registration will be up and running.
Keep your eyes open for further details and contact us if you're interested in volunteering!

THANK YOU!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to support the Sayreville Shamrock Run! The event was an overall success. Here are the numbers...
103 - total registrants
83 - 5K runners
20 - 1 mile runners/walkers
$2,502 raised for Sayreville Storm Relief (with more donations still coming in)!
1st Place 5K Male - Rufino Mendez
1st Place 5K Female - Stephanie Nawracas
1st Place 1 Mile Male - Michaelangelo Verone
1st Place 1 Mile Female - Erin Galvin
Congratulations to all of our runners for completing the course!
A special thank you to all of the volunteers. The event never could've been a success without your help! Thanks to the Sayreville Recreation Department for their assistance and thanks to Sayreville EMS for coming out and ensuring we had immediate assistance if needed (luckily it wasn't needed though!). Also, thank you to all of the sponsors who donated time, money, items and services.

T-SHIRT INFORMATION:
Anyone interested in ordering the Shamrock Run T-shirts, please send $10 to the following PO Box address, along with your shirt size requirement, email address and phone number no later than Wednesday, March 27th. I will be placing orders on Thursday, March 28th. (Please note the t-shirts are men's sizes and run from small to xxlarge).
*I need your email address and phone number to notify you once your t-shirt has arrived, so please be sure to provide them both.

Are you ready?!?!
I know the weather looks a bit gloomy out today, but the weather report is calling for a cool, clear day tomorrow. So get your running shoes on and come spend your St. Patrick's Day with us!
If you haven't pre-registered, don't worry. Day-of registration will be available beginning at 8:00am.
The 1 Mile Walk/Run begins at 8:30am and the 5K begins at 9:30am.
The run is taking place at Kennedy Park on Washington Rd. in the Parlin section of Sayreville. It's across from Sayreville War Memorial High School. The sign-in and registration tables will be set up by the dock. Overflow parking is in the Sayreville High School.
There will be two rounds of door prizes. The first round for the 1 mile participants will take place at 9:15am and the second round for the 5K participants will take place at 10:30am, so be sure to stick around!

Volunteers Needed
Want to get involved, but don't want to run? Come out and volunteer! We will need all the help we can get. We need assistance with registration, the aid (water) station, distributing items and cleaning up. Please contact us if you are willing to give your time. Thanks in advance!

Strollers Are Welcome In The 1 Mile Run/Walk
Happy Monday! We have decided to allow strollers to take part in the 1 mile fun run/walk. All strollers will begin after the runners and walkers. Please note that strollers are NOT allowed during the 5K for the safety of all runners.
